- Cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze. Remember children have thousands more viruses than adults.
- Put the tissue in a waste container or flush it in the toilet
- If you do not have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your sleeve or elbow not your hands
- Face masks can help but viruses easily pass through the fabric of the mask.
- Wash your hands with soap and warm water for 20 seconds
- If soap and water are not available use an alcohol based hand rub.
- when going out to eat many think the salt and pepper shakers are the most contaminated but studies have shown that the menu is the most contaminated. Take a small bottle of hand sanitizer with you and use it after placing your order.
